As the Operations Manager, you will be the vital link between the customer and the delivery of physical and technical elements of the projects you work upon. Your primary focus will be working closely with our in-house engineering team to provide the detailed day-to-day management and logistical aspects associated with our on-site project team.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of electricians and technicians. Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
- Project Coordination: Plan, schedule, and oversee electrical projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Resource Management: Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
- Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Estimating: Produce bill of materials from drawings for estimating and purchasing.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the team. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
- Experience working within an electrical small works contract environment.
- Experience working in hygienic industries (i.e. food, beverage, pharmaceutical).
- Experience using MS Project or similar.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, GAs, cable block diagrams, cable/terminal lists.
- Hold Electrical qualifications.
- 18th Edition.
