As the Junior Planner, you will be working as part of a forward-thinking operational team to deliver a mix of commercial and industrial projects with varying values. Working closely with the Planning Manager, you will be assisting with planning, scheduling, project reporting and schedule management to ensure projects are running on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborating with project teams to generate and monitor schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project plans.
- Managing projects into select phases of development, facilitating project deliverables.
- Preparing and maintaining schedule reporting documentation to support efficient project management.
- Track project progress and performance against baseline programmes & lookaheads using the Critical Path Method.
- Assess and record time impact analysis variance and delays.
- The Assistant Planner is key in ensuring projects remain on track and well-coordinated, contributing to their overall success.
- Risk and opportunity processes.
- Experience in the use of planning software management tools would be an advantage such as Primavera P6, Asta Power Project, Microsoft Project.
- Proactive and good interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Construction background an advantage.
