We are March, the UK's leading provider of critical engineering services. Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long-term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear.

We are currently recruiting a number of Electricians to be based out of our offices in Burton-upon-Trent. This will involve working on a wide range of projects for various clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed.
  • Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams.
  • Installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings.
  • Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing the technical expertise in installation teams where needed.
  • Using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation manuals to complete projects.
  • Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job.
  • Identifying electrical problems and repairing them.
  • Advising the company’s management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards.
  • Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 18th Edition
  • EAL/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical discipline.
  • Contracting/Client facing experience (desirable)
  • CSCS card advantageous but not essential.
