Marc Daniels are recruiting for an experienced and commercially focused UK Finance Manager to join a successful manufacturing business based in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a broad finance function, combining strong financial control with commercial business partnering. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, improving profitability and supporting continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee month-end reporting, management accounts and financial controls.

Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.

Manage statutory reporting, audit and financial compliance.

Oversee manufacturing finance, including product costing, inventory management and margin analysis.

Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve profitability and support strategic decisions.

Manage cash flow, working capital and credit control.

Lead and develop a small finance team.
-
Drive improvements in financial reporting, systems and processes.
The Ideal Candidate

ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.

Previous finance experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.

Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar position.

Strong technical accounting knowledge alongside commercial and analytical capabilities.

Experience of manufacturing costing, stock management and profitability analysis.

Ideally experienced within an SME or multi-site business environment.

A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge and influence business decisions.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
