An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Power BI Specialist to join the Finance function of a highly successful and growing organisation during a period of business transformation.

This is a key interim assignment for someone who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, transforming complex financial data into meaningful business insight and delivering reporting solutions that influence decision-making. You’ll take ownership of developing and enhancing Power BI reporting, helping the business improve visibility, automate reporting and drive better commercial outcomes.

The Role

Working closely with Finance and the wider business, you will:

  • Design, build and enhance Power BI dashboards and management reporting.
  • Develop robust data models using Power Query and DAX.
  • Translate business requirements into intuitive, insightful reporting solutions.
  • Automate manual reporting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Consolidate and integrate data from multiple sources to deliver accurate, timely reporting.
  • Provide analysis and insights that support strategic and operational decision‑making.
  • Partner with senior finance stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

You’ll be a technically strong Power BI professional with experience delivering reporting solutions within a finance environment. Equally comfortable working independently or collaborating with stakeholders, you’ll have the ability to quickly understand business challenges and develop practical, user‑friendly reporting solutions.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience developing Power BI solutions for Finance teams.
  • Advanced Power BI, DAX and Power Query expertise.
  • Strong data modelling and reporting experience.
  • A solid understanding of financial reporting and business performance metrics.
