A market leading, PE backed business are seeking a high-calibre Finance Director to join the executive leadership team of a fast-growing international business headquartered in London. This is a pivotal role with full P&L responsibility, combining rigorous financial stewardship with strong commercial leadership to drive performance, profitability, and strategic transformation across the group.
The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in financial controls and governance, alongside the commercial acumen to influence business decisions, optimise operations, and support continued international expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Leadership & Controls
- Full ownership of Group P&L, balance sheet and cash flow management
- Design, implement and continuously strengthen financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks
- Ensure robust statutory reporting, audit management, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning
- Commercial & Strategic Impact
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team
- Drive commercial change initiatives to improve margin, productivity and ROI
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support pricing, investment, and growth decisions
- Support international expansion, M&A evaluation and post-acquisition integration
- Operational & Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing international finance function
- Develop finance capability across operations, manufacturing and supply chain
- Champion continuous improvement in systems, processes and data quality
- Proven experience as Finance Director or senior finance leader
- Strong track record of establishing and operating best-in-class financial controls
- Demonstrated success driving commercial transformation and performance improvement
- Experience with international operations, multi-currency and multi-entity structures
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Confident communicator with gravitas at Board level
