This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take ownership of a key finance business partnering role supporting senior commercial stakeholders and driving strategic decision-making across the business.
The successful candidate will act as a true financial copilot to the commercial leadership team, providing insightful analysis, challenging performance, and influencing business outcomes through strong financial stewardship and commercial acumen.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Commercial Leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close activities and ongoing performance analysis.
- Deliver actionable insights around client profitability, resource utilisation, gross profit performance, business risks, and growth opportunities.
- Support and challenge commercial teams on pricing strategies, discount structures, and investment opportunities.
- Manage the commercial planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting of revenues, costs, discounts, and trade spend.
- Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to maximise business performance.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance measurement processes.
- Leverage finance systems and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting and decision-making.
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and financial controls, including supporting internal and external audits.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualified experience.
- Proven commercial finance experience with strong business partnering capability.
- Previous experience managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, pricing analysis, ROI assessments, and P&L performance.
- Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling, Pivot Tables, Lookups, and complex data analysis.
- Experience using Power BI to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior level.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform complex financial data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Able to prioritise effectively, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within media or advertising, or similar dynamic industries.
- Exposure to SAP, S/4HANA, BPC, SAC, Salesforce, Tableau, or comparable systems. xiskglj
