A marketâleading group operating at significant scale internationally are looking for a Head of Finance Operations to lead the function and drive significant finance transformation initiatives. This is a highâimpact leadership role, responsible for driving bestâinâclass Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations while acting as a key catalyst for finance transformation, process improvement, and acquisition integration across the business.
Reporting to the senior finance leadership team, you will have endâtoâend accountability for finance operations, leading a large, geographically dispersed team. You will balance operational rigor with strategic change, ensuring the function scales effectively, delivers outstanding service, and supports the wider business through periods of change and growth.
- Provide overall leadership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring robust controls, accuracy, and timely delivery at scale.
- Lead a large, highâperforming finance operations team, developing capability, engagement, and succession.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, including automation, system optimisation, and the introduction of bestâpractice operating models.
- Own and deliver process improvement agendas, embedding standardisation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across finance operations.
- Play a key role in acquisition integration, aligning processes, systems, controls, and teams into a cohesive operating model.
- Partner closely with Finance, IT, HR, and broader business stakeholders to ensure finance operations enable business performance.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, service levels, and governance frameworks to ensure consistent, highâquality outcomes.
Proven experience leading largeâscale finance operations, with deep expertise in AP and AR. A strong track record of finance transformation and delivering sustainable process improvement. Demonstrated experience supporting or leading M&A integration from a finance operations perspective. Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of risk, controls, and compliance in complex organisations. Significant scope to shape and modernise finance operations.
