We are seeking an experienced Technical Accountant to support a significant accounting standards conversion project for a well-established organisation transitioning to the updated FRS 102 framework.
This is a hands on project role requiring a technically strong accountant who can quickly assess accounting impacts, provide practical guidance, and support implementation across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities Support the transition to the revised FRS 102 accounting standards Assess and document the accounting implications of the new requirements.
Prepare technical accounting papers, position papers, and accounting policy documentation.
Analyse revenue recognition arrangements and advise on the application of principles aligned to IFRS 15.
Review lease accounting arrangements and support implementation of requirements aligned to IFRS 16.
Assist with financial statement disclosures and transition reporting requirements.
Liaise with auditors and senior finance stakeholders throughout the project.
