A high-profile, SaaS company with a strong global footprint is seeking a world-class Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team within a key division of this global market leading technology group. The company is investing heavily in people, systems and infrastructure to support its next chapter. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote or with one of a number of regional offices in the UK. This is not a traditional finance leadership role. The incoming CFO will act as the connective tissue between strategy, execution and value creation - serving as the CEO's principal strategic advisor while personally shaping the financial architecture of the organisation.
You will bring rigor, pace and foresight to a fast-moving environment, creating the operational discipline expected by sophisticated investors while retaining the agility required in a scaling SaaS business. From unit-level economics to board-level narrative, you will define how performance is measured, explained and improved.
- Commercial & Strategic Influence
- Embed yourself alongside go-to-market, product and technology leaders to improve margin clarity, pricing strategy, deal economics and forecasting accuracy.
- Elevate revenue visibility and forward planning across recurring and usage-based income streams.
- Financial Direction & Value Uplift
- Own the complete financial agenda, from core reporting through to strategic planning and performance management.
- Convert long-term growth aspirations into robust operating plans aligned to an ambitious ARR milestone.
- Drive discipline around efficiency, scalability and capital returns in support of long-term enterprise value.
- Building for Scale
- Lead the evolution of systems, controls and data infrastructure, prioritising automation and reliability.
- Recruit, develop and inspire a high-calibre international finance team.
- Stay deeply involved in execution during periods of rapid expansion, change or complexity.
- Governance & Risk Oversight
- Ensure global compliance, audit readiness and risk management across multiple territories.
- Set the standard for board-level reporting and investor communication in a PE environment.
- Investor & External Engagement
- Manage relationships with banks, tax advisors and other strategic partners.
- Support equity holders and directors on capital strategy, value-creation initiatives and exit planning.
Required experience:
- Senior finance leadership within a high-growth SaaS business.
- Proven track record of international finance leadership and multi-region operations.
- Deep understanding of subscription economics, SaaS KPIs, revenue recognition and forecasting.
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Hands-on operator with the credibility to lead from the front.
- Commercially sharp, analytically robust and intensely outcome-focused.
