A well-established and highly regarded business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team in a broad and hands-on role. Working closely with senior leadership, this position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst supporting wider commercial and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will be a key member of a close-knit team and will play an important role in the continued success of the business.
This role would suit somebody who enjoys working within a collaborative environment, is happy to get involved across all areas of finance and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a stable and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Support year-end accounts and external audit processes
- Management and development of finance processes and procedures
- Business partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders
- Analysis of margins, profitability and business performance
- Support strategic decision-making through financial insight
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations
- Ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified preferred
- Previous Finance Manager or Financial Controller experience
- Strong management accounting and financial control background
- Commercially minded with excellent communication skills
- Hands-on and adaptable approach
- Comfortable working within a smaller, collaborative team
- Experience within manufacturing, retail, consumer products, distribution or similar environments would be advantageous
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Broad and varied role with genuine responsibility
- Exposure to senior stakeholders and business decision-making
