Job Description
Due to a new payroll and time and attendance system being rolled out, we are looking for an interim Payroll Systems Implementation Project manager to manage the migration process, over a 5 month period, working 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, based fully on site in Uxbridge.\\n\\nReporting into the HRD, you will be working closely with the External IT Project Manager to ensure the accurate and timely migration and cleansing for the payroll data for circa 1400 UK employees onto Employment Hero.\\n\\nDuties will include:\\n\\nManage end-to-end payroll project delivery, including new payroll software implementations, design and transitions within strict deadlines.\\nPossess in-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, RTI reporting, and HMRC statutory requirements, maintaining up-to-date compliance at all times.\\nDemonstrate a clear track record implementing payroll solutions across various industries, with proven adaptability to sector-specific requirements.\\nExperience of running payroll for hourly paid staff-including accurate calculation and payment of the National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage-ensuring rigorous compliance.\\nAudit, configure, and streamline processes for multiple payroll cycles, including weekly, monthly, and off-cycle runs for diverse employee types.\\nCollaborate with stakeholders at all levels (Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, Operations) to tailor payroll solutions and project communications for effective rollout.\\nIdentify and mitigate project risks, including compliance, IT integration, data migration, and user adoption issues.\\nTrain, mentor, and develop payroll administration teams, fostering knowledge transfer on legislative changes and payroll best practice.\\nChampion payroll compliance, documenting procedures for audits and ensuring robust internal controls to fulfil regulatory standards.\\nAnalyse and report on project outcomes, KPIs, and post-implementation reviews, ensuring sustainability and continuous process improvement.\\nSupport with Parallel running before going live.The HR System in place is PeopleXD the data will flow from there to Employment Hero (which will be the Payroll & Time and Attendace software). The relevant financial data then needs to flow to Sage Intact.\\n\\nWe are looking for someone who:\\n\\nIs available immediately, or soon to be available, and able to commit to a circa 5 month project.\\nIs looking for a part time interim role, working 22.5 hours a week across 3 days, on site in the Uxbridge offices (NB the days and fully on site aspects of the role are non negotiable due to the pivotal nature of the role).\\nHas recent, proven experience in at last one Payroll/HR systems migration project for a similar sized business (circa 1400 UK employees).\\nExperience of Employment Hero would be ideal, but not essential, so please still apply if your profile meets the rest of the criteria
