The business is currently driving change through the implementation of a new ERP system, with a clear focus on improving reporting, automation, and data quality. This role will sit at the heart of that journey, supporting the successful delivery of systems change while ensuring data is structured, governed, and ready to support future growth.

The Role

You'll be central to ensuring the organisation has the right tools, controls, and data to support automation, reporting, and future analytics ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of a new ERP system to modernise processes, improve data visibility, and enable smarter decision-making across the business.
  • Own the overall data and systems workstream strategy, plan, and roadmap aligned to transformation outcomes.
  • Establish visibility of the data landscape, ownership, definitions, and quality across finance processes.
  • Define and govern data standards, including chart of accounts, master data structures, hierarchies, and mappings.
  • Coordinate data cleansing, validation, structured migration readiness, and system testing activities.
  • Act as a key point of contact between Finance, IT, Product, and implementation partners.
  • Drive resolution of data-related risks, issues, and cross-functional decisions.
  • Track and report end-to-end data readiness, including quality, completeness, migration status, and system preparedness.
  • Ensure systems and data are designed to support process standardisation, automation, and future AI and analytics use cases.
  • Define and implement post go-live governance, controls, and ownership models.
  • Embed sustainable processes to maintain and continuously improve data and system quality after deployment.

About You

  • Experience in finance systems, data governance, ERP transformation, or a similar change-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, data structures, and system controls.
  • Comfortable working across Finance, IT, and project teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge where needed.
  • A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementation, data migration, or finance systems improvement would be highly desirable.
