A market leading employer based in Milton Park Oxfordshire is seeking an accounts assistant to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. Offered on a hybrid basis, the role of accounts assistant would be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of payments and daily financial transactions.
- Process bank statement transactions with precision and efficiency, ensuring all daily banking activities are up-to-date and accurate.
- Manage both manual and automated payment runs, including our regular royalty payments, ensuring timely and accurate transfers.
- Accurately process refunds using Secure Trading and other banking platforms, ensuring refunds are managed efficiently.
- Accurately record and process direct debits and standing orders, maintaining an organised approach to recurring payments.
- Prepare detailed and accurate monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records align with bank statements.
Suitable applicants will have:
- Practical work experience within an accounting capacity
- Strong Excel skills, specifically filtering, searching and sorting large volumes of data
- Plenty of initiative and a desire to succeed
