Marc Daniels are working with a well-known company who are seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join their finance team based in Greenford on a 9 Month FTC.
This role offers the flexibility to work both from home and at their modern offices, supporting efficient credit management and debt recovery processes to keep the business running smoothly.
This role requires the individual to be immediately available or available on short notice
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the credit control function by monitoring and chasing outstanding accounts receivable.
- Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to collect overdue payments.
- Build strong relationships with clients to facilitate prompt payment and resolve queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and payment agreements.
- Reconcile customer accounts, ensure timely allocation of receipts, and investigate discrepancies.
- Produce regular aged debtor reports and elevate problem accounts when necessary.
- Liaise with the sales and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support credit decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
You will enjoy working in a supportive and friendly team whilst receiving training from an established finance leader. You will enjoy hybrid working and an office location that is easily accessible by public transport, with the added benefit of free on-site car parking.
