Permanent A growing and highly successful technology business is looking to appoint a Cloud Billing Team Leader to join its Finance Operations function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced billing or finance professional with leadership experience to take ownership of a high-performing team within a fast-paced and evolving cloud services environment. The Role Reporting into the Billing Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of cloud billing services. You'll manage workloads, support team development, resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvements across billing processes. Working closely with teams across Finance, Technology, Operations and Customer Services, you'll play a key role in ensuring billing accuracy, service quality and process efficiency as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day delivery of cloud billing operations and recurring billing cycles Manage team workloads and priorities to ensure accurate and timely billing outcomes Coach, mentor and develop team members, supporting both performance and career growth Act as an escalation point for complex billing queries and operational issues Monitor KPIs, service levels and team performance Support governance, controls, reconciliations and audit requirements Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions to improve processes Identify and implement opportunities for automation and operational improvement Promote a positive, customer-focused and high-performing team culture Skills & Experience Required Experience within a billing, finance, technology, telecoms, cloud or managed services environment Previous experience leading, supervising or coordinating operational teams Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience managing high-volume processes and competing priorities Understanding of operational controls, governance and service management Strong Excel and data analysis skills Proactive approach with excellent problem-solving capabilities Passion for continuous improvement Desirable Experience Cloud, subscription or usage-based billing experience Knowledge of Microsoft, AWS or Adobe billing environments Experience using Oracle NetSuite Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies Experience supporting business change or transformation programmes What's on Offer Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 Hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days remote) Flexible working hours Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunity to join a growing technology-focused business with excellent development prospects If you're an experienced billing professional with leadership experience and a passion for process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
