Build the function. Shape the future. Influence the strategy.
An exceptionally exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Head of FP&A to join a high-growth technology business that has recently secured significant international investment and is entering its next phase of rapid global expansion.
This is not a traditional FP&A leadership role.
The business is scaling at pace and is seeking a commercially astute finance leader to establish, build and lead a best-in-class FP&A function.
Working closely with the CFO, executive leadership team, and investors, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making, supporting growth initiatives, and creating the financial infrastructure required for an ambitious scaling journey.
This is a rare opportunity to join at a defining stage of the company's evolution, with the ability to leave a lasting mark on both the finance function and the wider organisation.
The Opportunity
As Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for creating the FP&A capability from the ground up, designing the processes, systems, reporting frameworks and team structure required to support a fast-growing, internationally focused technology business.
You will act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to support key commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a new FP&A function.
- Develop scalable forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning processes.
- Build sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver board, executive and investor reporting.
- Provide actionable commercial insights across revenue, margins, customer performance and investment opportunities.
- Drive KPI development and performance management frameworks.
- Partner with department leaders to improve financial accountability and decision-making.
- Support fundraising activities, investor relations and strategic growth initiatives.
- Enhance financial systems, reporting tools and data capabilities.
- Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team as the business grows.
About You
We're looking for an ambitious FP&A leader who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys building functions rather than simply managing them.
You will likely possess
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Significant FP&A leadership experience within a technology, Saa S, software, digital or high-growth environment.
- Proven experience building or transforming FP&A capabilities.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders at executive level.
- Advanced financial modelling and strategic planning expertise.
- Experience working within venture-backed, private equity-backed or high-growth businesses.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving environment.
Why Apply?
- Opportunity to build and lead an FP&A function from day one.
- Join a business experiencing exceptional growth following major investment.
- Significant exposure to the CFO, Board and investors.
- Influence strategic decision-making at the highest level.
- High-growth, entrepreneurial culture with genuine career progression opportunities.
