Marc Daniels are recruiting for an Interim Investment Appraisal Lead based in London. This role sits at the point where strategy meets finance, leading investment appraisal, capex review and business case development, and taking that work to board level. It suits a strategy consulting or value creation background looking for an interim assignment with genuine influence over where capital goes.
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluating investment opportunities and making recommendations on capital allocation
- Reviewing capital expenditure proposals
- Building and challenging business cases
- Producing board papers and supporting board level decision making
- Building and maintaining financial models in Excel
- Supporting value creation initiatives across the business
The successful candidate will have:
- 4 to 8 years in a top tier strategy consultancy, or equivalent experience in a private equity value creation, restructuring or transaction advisory practice
- Subsequent experience at Strategy Manager level or equivalent
- Strong Excel financial modelling skills
- Transaction exposure
- Solid commercial finance knowledge
Desirable:
- ACA or CFA qualification
