Working for a US owned Events company with a small office in Windsor but primarily based in New Jersey, this company is a full-service, experiential marketing agency with global reach. Starting out as a small exhibit house in the middle of New Jersey in the 70s, the company has evolved with the industry. The people make the agency. Their diverse group of people, personalities, and experience is their X factor to ensure the client’s brand experience is well-crafted.
Reporting into the FD, based in Windsor with a dotted line into the FC in New Jersey, you will be responsible for the Accounts Payable process and liaising with key stakeholders across the business, including Project Managers and the wider Finance team.
The role:
- Processes electronic payments.
- Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary.
- Audits freight bills against freight manifests.
- Answers all vendor inquiries.
- Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted.
- Prints accounts payable reports and assists in maintaining accounts payable files.
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
- Assists in monthly closings.
- Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.
The person:
- Available immediately and seeking part-time work.
- MUST be able to work on site in Windsor 22.5 hours a week, this can be spread over 3 full days or 5 shorter days.
- Able to commit to a 4 – 6 months temporary position.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced accounts payable position.
- Outgoing and friendly and able to ‘push back’ politely when necessary.
