A small, well-established educational charity in Oxford is seeking a senior finance professional to take ownership of its finance function. This newly created role offers a mix of hands-on financial management and strategic leadership, supporting senior management and trustees while strengthening systems, controls and long-term financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Produce management accounts and reports for senior stakeholders
- Manage all day-to-day finance activity including payroll, payments, reconciliations, cash flow and fees
- Prepare statutory accounts and oversee audit and Charity Commission compliance
- Improve financial systems, processes and controls
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or working towards qualification
- Strong charity accounting and compliance knowledge
- Confident operating as a standalone finance professional
- Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
