A well-established and highly regarded business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team in a broad and hands-on role. Working closely with senior leadership, this position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst supporting wider commercial and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will be a key member of a close-knit team and will play an important role in the continued success of the business. Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
  • Support year-end accounts and external audit processes
  • Management and development of finance processes and procedures
  • Business partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders
  • Analysis of margins, profitability and business performance
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial insight
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations
  • Ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified preferred
  • Previous Finance Manager or Financial Controller experience
  • Strong management accounting and financial control background
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on and adaptable approach
  • Comfortable working within a smaller, collaborative team
  • Experience within manufacturing, retail, consumer products, distribution or similar environments would be advantageous
  • Strong Excel and systems skills
