A fast-growing software company based in London is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a broad management accounting role within an innovative, technology-driven business.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely monthly management accounts, supporting the month-end close process, and providing insightful analysis to help drive business performance. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is confident using NetSuite as part of their day-to-day finance responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
  • Own the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
  • Use NetSuite to support reporting, transactional review, and financial control.
  • Produce variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial performance.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
  • Assist with audit preparation and year-end reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to improvements in finance processes and systems.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong management accounting experience gained in a commercial environment.
  • Hands-on experience using NetSuite is essential.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance teams.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work well in a fast-paced software business.
