An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Power BI Specialist to join the Finance function of a highly successful and growing organisation during a period of business transformation. This is a key interim assignment for someone who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, transforming complex financial data into meaningful business insight and delivering reporting solutions that influence decision-making.
You'll take ownership of developing and enhancing Power BI reporting, helping the business improve visibility, automate reporting and drive better commercial outcomes.
The Role
- Design, build and enhance Power BI dashboards and management reporting.
- Develop robust data models using Power Query and DAX.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, insightful reporting solutions.
- Automate manual reporting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Consolidate and integrate data from multiple sources to deliver accurate, timely reporting.
- Provide analysis and insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Partner with senior finance stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
You'll be a technically strong Power BI professional with experience delivering reporting solutions within a finance environment. Equally comfortable working independently or collaborating with stakeholders, you'll have the ability to quickly understand business challenges and develop practical, user-friendly reporting solutions.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience developing Power BI solutions for Finance teams.
- Advanced Power BI, DAX and Power Query expertise.
- Strong data modelling and reporting experience.
- A solid understanding of financial reporting and business performance metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, consultative approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
