A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a fast growing Manufacturing business. This role offers remote working options (2 days a month in the office) and significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for UK and EU divisions.
  • Prepare monthly consolidation of European companies across multiple divisions for both local and group reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly project costing, recharges and comparison to budget with variance analysis.
  • Prepare weekly cashflows for subsidiaries.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packs and balance sheet including accrual and prepayments.
  • Prepare VAT returns.
  • Assisting in annual audit process.
  • Reporting on inventory, including tracking qualities, values and locations.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide analysis on cost centres.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial internal controls and policies are maintained across the board.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant ACCA / ACA / CIMA.
  • Previous experience of managing a team.
  • Previous experience of Inventory reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and experience of using ERP systems.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience of managing full production of management accounts in fast growing companies.
