A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a EMEA Management Accountant to join a leading FMCG company based in London.
This is a newly created role offering incredible exposure to senior stakeholders, hybrid working and other benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted business partner to the Franchise Director and Head of Franchise Operations, providing insights into business performance.
- Manage the P&L on a daily basis, conducting detailed analysis to ensure results are accurate, identifying trends and anomalies for further investigation and appropriate action.
- Prepare and deliver the weekly flash submission to the Group.
- Oversee all period-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate result delivery, including managing intercompany processes with other business units, while providing meaningful commentary and meeting Group deadlines.
- Maintain and update associated analyses, including sales and royalties breakdowns, charts for the MD, and contributions to the Europe Finance Pack.
- Lead the development of Franchise reporting in Power BI, focusing on sales, production, and waste.
- Develop and maintain a Risks and Opportunities schedule, along with KPI reporting.
- Act as the finance lead for business development opportunities.
- Report on capital expenditure (Capex).
- Serve as the key contact for divisional and group-wide processes and initiatives.
- Hold financial accountability for in-year re-forecasts, the annual budget, and long-term strategic plans.
- Support the Head of Finance, Europe with ad hoc projects and initiatives across any business unit in the division.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA qualified finance professional – qualified or finalist
- Previous P&L management experience
