The Role: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll Accounts Assistant to join their busy Finance team on a hybrid basis. This is a varied and crucial role encompassing end-to-end payroll processing alongside responsibilities in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong numerical and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Payroll: Processing monthly and weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Managing starters and leavers, including processing relevant documentation and final payments. Preparing and submitting payroll reports to relevant authorities (e.g., HMRC). Dealing with payroll queries from employees in a professional and efficient manner. Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Accounts Payable: Processing invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
