A role has arisen for an Accountant to join a FTSE 100 company based in Hounslow on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office. Responsibilities: Deliver General Accounting tasks and activities to operating companies in own scope, such as period end close activities, reconciliations, analysis, posting adjustment entries, answering audit queries, KPI reporting etc Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks and activities delivered Provide support to other General Accounting team members as required Support external and internal audits as required Support the transition of ERP systems, Finance/Accounting systems, management accounting processes and procedures to the Shared Service Centre Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and key business metrics, appropriately propose improvement opportunities to line manager Build a solid understanding of internal control design and operational efficiency and ensure ongoing compliance Build and maintain strong working relationships with Finance teams and other internal and external parties as required Provide a high level of customer service to business partners & internal customers Observe and actively promote the company’s Health, Safety and Environment ethos and help building a fun and supportive environment in the Finance Shared Service Centre Skills & Exper…
