Maternity leave cover role that may lead to ongoing employment

We are a small family team based in the south lakes, just outside of Ulverston. We are a, mainly, online business specialising in Marble and Slate giftware and home accessories.

This Job is for maternity cover with a possibility of ongoing employment.

start date : November 2025

Flexible Hours : 16hrs a week

Job Description

· Customer service skills are necessary; part of the job requires answering enquiries over emails, phone or in person.

· In this role, you will be responsible for computer-related duties and on-time order dispatch.

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is required, along with the ability to quickly learn and navigate web-based platforms

· Must be capable of manual handling, including lifting and packing orders that may be heavy.

· When things are slow, be able to tidy the shed.

· A trip to the post office may be necessary, so being able to drive is a must.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £33,280.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 per week
