Our client provides integrated security solutions to businesses, local authorities, councils, schools, and private clients across the UK. They specialise in CCTV/VSS, intruder alarms, access control, and fire safety systems, working on projects across high-end residential properties, historic buildings, commercial premises, and public sector sites.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic multi-skilled Installation Engineer to join their established and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing security systems in line with customer requirements and current industry standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install intruder alarms, CCTV, fire, and access control systems locally and nationally.
- Support installation projects following successful sales conversions.
- Demonstrate systems to customers and explain system operation and false alarm causes.
- Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance when required.
- Understand client requirements and ensure installations meet their needs.
- Update site documentation, including schematics and drawings where required.
- Record completed work and updates via SIMPRO and obtain client sign-off.
- Occasionally travel and stay away to support project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a multi-disciplined security installation engineer.
- Strong knowledge of security systems installation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel nationally with occasional overnight stays.
