Small Works Fire & Commissioning Engineer – London

£50,000 – £55,000 (DOE) London & Surrounding Areas

Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with a strong background in small works, commissioning, and wireless fire alarm installs? We’re looking for a skilled engineer to join our growing team, delivering high-quality fire systems projects across London.

The Role

  • Carrying out small works installations, panel changes, and system commissioning
  • Working with wireless fire alarm systems (e.g. Hyfire, EDA)
  • Taking downloads from panels and completing associated documentation
  • Ensuring systems meet British Standards and client requirements
  • Liaising with project managers and end clients to ensure smooth project delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer / Commissioning Engineer
  • Experience with wireless systems such as Hyfire or EDA
  • Confident with commissioning, fault-finding, and panel programming
  • Solid knowledge of fire alarm systems (direct experience essential)
  • Emergency lighting experience is a bonus – but not essential (we’ll train you!)
  • Full UK driving licence
