Marble Talent Group are recruiting for a HVAC Engineer to join our client in the Croydon area. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of commercial and residential clients and contribute to high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Installation & Commissioning: Install HVAC systems for new builds and refurbishments, ensuring they meet all operational and safety standards. • Maintenance & Servicing: Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. • Fault Diagnosis: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HVAC systems, including refrigeration, heating, and cooling faults. • System Upgrades & Modifications: Recommend and implement upgrades or modifications to existing HVAC systems to improve performance and meet regulatory standards. • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with current regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. • Customer Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and professional advice on system operations, maintenance, and repairs. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including service reports, inventory logs, and certificates of compliance. • Emergency Response: Provide out-of-hours support as required for emergency repairs, with the ability to work on-call if necessary. Key Skills and Qualifications: • Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or similar role, with a solid understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. • Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning). • F-Gas certification is highly desirable. • Excellent knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, including Gas Safe, NICEIC, or similar. • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to problem-solve under pressure. • Experience with both commercial and residential HVAC systems is preferred. • Full UK driving license. • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
