Marble Talent Group are seeking a commercially aware Pre-Construction Lead to support projects from estimating through to commencement on site. This role requires strong building services engineering knowledge, with the ability to effectively manage design, procurement, and planning phases. You will work closely with internal teams and the supply chain to develop procurement strategies, manage risk, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and set up for successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project design delivery across internal and external design teams, including drawing reviews and approvals
- Prepare and issue technical submittals for major plant and equipment
- Develop financial reports and procurement strategies to improve project margins
- Review contract documentation to ensure alignment with project estimates and agreed value engineering or derogations
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, including value engineering initiatives
- Support the development of pre-construction and construction programmes with design and project teams
- Engage with specialist subcontractors to define scope, manage design output, conduct pre-let meetings, and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Attend internal and external project meetings as required
