About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based position, covering major counties across the Northwest of England. You will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and commissioning of a wide range of fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and commission fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional)
  • Service and fault-find on intruder alarms, CCTV systems (IP & analogue), and access control
  • Carry out routine maintenance in line with industry regulations
  • Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
  • Work independently and as part of a wider regional team
  • Participate in the on-call rota and occasional overnight stays when required

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the fire and security industry
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Relevant certifications such as FIA, ECS, IPAF, or similar (preferred but not essential)
