Field based service and maintenance engineer for doors – M25.
Our client – a leading manufacturer of industrial and automatic doors – worldwide, have an urgent requirement for a field-based service and maintenance engineer.
The candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, PPM’s, and quarterly/annual services on a wide range of doors including but not limited to:
- Swing
- Revolving
- Sliding
- Overhead
- Sectional
- High speed
- Roller
There will also be an opportunity for the candidate to widen their product knowledge by working within our clients’ gate automation sector, as your role progresses.
Geographically, the role encompasses everything inside and outside the M25 within reasonable distance. The client largely works with blue chip commercial businesses, but also have some smaller SME clients as well as government contracts.
The successful candidate must have a background within industrial doors or automatic doors or automated gates.
If the candidate holds a relevant industry qualification, this would be of additional benefit. This could be an EN16005, NVQ and/or DHF/Gatesafe.
Package
Salary for the role is negotiable but we can expect something in the region of £15-£19ph, with paid travel, callout, overtime, pension, health care, vehicle, phone, laptop/PDA/Tablet.
