We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing M&E contractor based in the Solent area.
The successful candidate will have previous electrical estimating experience within the M&E/building services industry, ideally working on large-scale or multi-million-pound projects.
Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate tenders for electrical building services projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Completing detailed take-offs and labour/material costings
- Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering options
- Working closely with Pre-Construction, Design and Commercial teams
Personal Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical/M&E Estimator
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems
- Experience with take-offs and tender submissions
- Good commercial awareness and knowledge of current market rates
- Confident using Excel and estimating software
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
