We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Static Engineer on behalf of our client for a permanent, site-based role within a critical healthcare environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical engineer to join a stable, long-term contract, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on essential building services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Fault find and repair electrical building services systems
  • Support critical infrastructure including emergency lighting, UPS, generators, and LV distribution
  • Coordinate specialist subcontractors and ensure compliance with site procedures
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using CAFM systems
  • Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and health & safety standards

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience in electrical building services maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding skills
  • Experience working in critical environments such as healthcare, data centres, or similar

Desirable

  • 2391 Test & Inspection
  • BMS experience
  • Knowledge of HTM guidance
  • AP/LV or HV awareness

Salary & Benefits

  • £45,000-£47,000 plus £1,500-£2,000 salary increase after successful 6-month probation
  • £145 per week on-call allowance
  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
