We're seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our client, supporting commercial and residential clients across Crewe and other locations. The ideal candidate will have strong fault-finding and breakdown experience, working across a range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable client base, with autonomy to manage your own workload and deliver high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnosis, and repair on HVAC systems including split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs.
- Conduct reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs in line with client SLAs.
- Undertake routine PPM (planned preventive maintenance) tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients on system performance and energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- Strong background in fault-finding and reactive repair.
- Relevant HVAC qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent).
- FGAS Category 1 certification (essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
Salary & Benefits
- £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).
