Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for a CNC sliding head lathe setter and operator based in a machine shop in Great Barr!
Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC sliding head lathes
- Program and adjust CNC programmes
- Prepare tooling and run production
- Inspect parts and maintain tolerances
- Monitor performance and minimise scrap
- Support machining, rework, and prototype work
- Operate manual machines
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace
Personal Requirements
- Proven experience setting and operating CNC sliding head lathes
- CNC programming experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with Fanuc controls (or similar)
- Experience using manual lathes and milling machines
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Salary: £35k per year
