Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for an Install Engineer to join a team in South East London!
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and test fire detection and alarm systems in line with BS 5839-1 and client specifications
- Complete small works projects, including system alterations, upgrades, and additions
- Accurately complete job reports, commissioning certificates, and handover documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and internal teams
- Deliver work within agreed timescales and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures, health & safety requirements, and industry regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers or apprentices when required
Personal Requirements
- Demonstrable experience installing and commissioning fire alarm systems
- Strong working knowledge of BS 5839 and relevant fire safety standards
- Experience with fire alarm systems such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Apollo, Hochiki, or similar
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid ECS or CSCS card
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- FIA Units 1, 4, or equivalent fire systems qualifications
- Experience working on emergency lighting or other life safety systems
- IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness certifications
- Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
