About the Role

Marble Talent Group are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our client based in Blackburn on a permanent basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repair of commercial gas and HVAC systems across a range of sites including commercial, industrial, retail, and public sector buildings (including schools and NHS sites).

Key duties include:

  • Diagnostic, servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repair of commercial plant and HVAC systems
  • Working on boilers, pumps, valves, AHUs, fan coils, burners, pipework, and controls
  • Fault finding and achieving first-time fixes where possible
  • Completing digital job reports and compliance paperwork
  • Working across multiple sites and participating in an on-call rota

An Enhanced DBS check is required.

About You

  • Experienced in commercial gas servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills on plant room equipment
  • Confident working independently across multiple sites
  • Good knowledge of current gas industry standards
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable (not essential):

  • OFTEC qualification
  • LPG certification
  • Heat pump experience (air/ground source)
  • Basic electrical/BMS controls knowledge

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Valid ACS qualifications including core elements (e.g. CCN1 and relevant commercial units)
  • Unvented hot water qualification
