Our client is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Senior Engineer / Supervisor with strong experience in servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced refrigeration professional looking to take the next step in their career with a well-established business that values technical excellence, customer service, and long-term career development.
The successful candidate will have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, confidence in delivering work to a high standard, and the ability to build strong working relationships with customers.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and supporting commercial refrigeration systems across a varied client base. The role includes providing a high standard of planned maintenance, reactive breakdown support, and sharing responsibility for emergency call-outs as part of the on-call engineering team. Our client provides tailored service and maintenance packages, including a 24-hour breakdown service for contract customers only. The standby rota is currently 1 week in 7.
Candidate Requirements
- F-Gas Category 1 certification
- CSCS Gold Card / CITB Skills Card
- IPAF & PASMA
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ideally based within Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, or Middlesex
- Strong communication skills and excellent work ethic
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- CO2 systems
- A2L refrigerants
- Commissioning experience
- Controls experience including Dixell XWeb / monitoring systems
Package & Benefits
- £50,000 – £60,000 basic salary depending on experience
- 45-hour per week contract
