The Role
As a Technology Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and managing your own specialist desk within the technology sector. You'll have the autonomy to build new client relationships while delivering exceptional recruitment solutions to both clients and candidates. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and developing a profitable technology recruitment desk from the ground up.
- Winning new business through proactive business development, networking, referrals, and market mapping.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from client acquisition through to candidate placement.
- Sourcing, interviewing, and managing high-quality technology professionals across a range of disciplines.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
- Negotiating terms, fees, and offers while providing consultative recruitment advice.
- Maintaining accurate records and managing your pipeline using the company's CRM system.
- Keeping up to date with market trends, salary benchmarking, and developments within the technology sector.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues while taking ownership of your own desk and performance targets.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years' experience in technology recruitment.
- A proven track record of billing and delivering successful placements.
- Experience building or significantly growing a recruitment desk within the technology sector.
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage recruitment processes and pipelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and comfortable working remotely.
