Marble Arch Health is a growing private women’s healthcare business providing specialist gynecology and women’s health services. The business operates across Enniskillen and Galway and is entering a new stage of growth, with increasing clinical activity, insurer engagement, specialist involvement, theatre pathways, and cross-border operational complexity.

Marble Arch Health is now seeking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant for their premises in Enniskillen. As the business continues to expand, we are seeking a candidate who will support clinicians, patients and the wider clinic team in the delivery of high-quality services. The role will involve assisting with patient flow, preparation for consultations and procedures, basic observations, clinical room and equipment preparation, stock control, infection control, chaperone support and patient comfort.

Job Details

  • Contract: Part-Time, 2 days per week with the potential to increase in line with service demand
  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Hours of work: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Location: Enniskillen

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care during consultations, examinations, and procedures.
  • Assist with patient preparation, admissions, discharges, and clinical observations within the scope of training and competence.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical rooms, procedure areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health systems.
  • Support patient flow by preparing rooms, equipment, and documentation and assisting patients throughout their visit.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered support, promoting dignity, comfort, and privacy at all times.
  • Act as a chaperone during examinations and procedures where trained and required.
  • Monitor stock levels, maintain clinical equipment, and report any issues affecting patient care or clinic operations.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues to ensure a safe, organised, and welcoming clinical environment.

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a healthcare or clinical support role.
  • Caring, professional, and patient-focused approach.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures, work effectively as part of a team, and use initiative appropriately.
  • Understanding patient confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and professional development.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in women’s health, gynecology, or outpatient clinic settings.
  • Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or a similar clinic support role.
  • Experience acting as a chaperone and supporting clinical procedures.
  • Phlebotomy skills and experience.
