School Nurse (RN)

Marathon is seeking reliable, compassionate candidates for a Registered Nurse (RN) position available immediately in Weston, MA!

The Registered Nurse will be working with one disabled student with specialized needs, including seizures and g-tube needs.

Coverage involves, but is not limited to the following:

•Working one on one with a child with special needs, building a rapport with the child and parents

•Aiding in transporting the student to and from school each day, monitoring health and enacting protocol, as required

•Facilitating G-tube feedings throughout the school day, and monitor for seizures, as necessary

•Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation of student and staff health encounters

•Take immediate action in response to medical emergencies, providing appropriate care and support

•Perform additional responsibilities, as needed

Qualifications include, but may not be limited to:

•Must have a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts

•Bachelor\’s degree in nursing from a college or university program in nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing recommended.

•Certified in CPR for healthcare professionals through a recognized provider (e.g., American Heart Association)

•Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic medical record systems

•Ability to pass a full background check and drug test.

Pay range is $48.00 to $55.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Position starts as soon as possible and will continue through the fall, hours being 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday. Immediate benefits available include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and more.
