About Mara

Mara is on a mission to deliver broader access to private markets. Having been born out of a frustration with limited investment access, we built a platform so that individuals—not just large institutions—can invest in private funds using our technology and regulatory infrastructure. We partner with top-tier private funds, syndicates, family offices, wealth managers and startups to lower minimum entry barriers, streamline onboarding, and offer scalable, flexible solutions for investor access.

What We’re Looking For

A proactive Investor Relations and Operations Analyst who thrives in a fast-moving environment, loves detail, comfortable with numbers, and wants to see how investment operations run behind the scenes. You’ll report directly to the Operations Manager, helping us deliver excellent service, keep things tight, and continuously improve our processes.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day correspondence with investor queries, especially issues with the portal or onboarding process
  • Perform daily financial reconciliations / assist with accounting tasks
  • Keep the investor database current and accurate
  • Help with process management and optimisation — finding better, smoother ways to do things
  • Oversee portal management (ensuring investor portal content is up-to-date, functional, etc.)
  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and completing documents as needed

What We’d Love You To Bring

  • Some familiarity with investments, finance, and accounting principles
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Razor-sharp attention to detail
  • Highly organised, good at managing your own time and tasks in a dynamic setting
  • An eye for improving processes constantly — not satisfied with “this is how it’s always done”
  • Problem-solving mindset; you see obstacles as opportunities to learn

If you’re eager to dive into operations at a fast-growing scale-up, get hands-on exposure to the private markets world, and be part of genuine disruption—this could be the role for you.
