Mara Recruit is searching for a Machine Shop Inspector to join a highly skilled engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all machined components meet strict quality standards before reaching customers. Working closely with production and quality teams, you will help maintain precision and accuracy across all inspected parts.

Role Overview:

?? Location: Machine Shop
? Hours: 8:00 16:30 (overtime may be required)
?? Reports to: Machine Shop Manager
?? Focus: Inspecting components at various production stages to ensure compliance with specifications
?? Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to verify quality and accuracy
• Work alongside machinists and quality engineers to identify and address any defects or non-conformances
• Use a range of measuring tools, including hand measurement devices, FARO arm, and CMM
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards
• Assist in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement processes
• Provide detailed feedback to the production team to enhance quality control
• Potential travel for project-related work when required

What Were Looking For:

? Strong communication skills with fluency in English
? Background in engineeringdegree, apprenticeship, or relevant industry experience
? Understanding of inspection techniques (training provided for those eager to learn)
? Problem-solving mindset with experience in troubleshooting and resolving production issues
? Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
? Team-oriented approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Experience:

• CMM programming and operation (PC-DMIS experience is a plus)
• Polyworks software knowledge
• Experience with FARO scanning hardware or similar technology
