Key responsibilities of the Receptionist will include:
- Deliver the highest possible standards of customer care and service, both front-of-house and behind the scenes.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the club’s facilities, services, and location to effectively respond to member and guest enquiries.
- Anticipate guests’ needs wherever possible, ensuring an exceptional level of service and overall guest satisfaction.
- Project a helpful, courteous, and professional image at all times, working collaboratively with colleagues across all departments.
- Welcome guests on arrival, verify their details against bookings, and ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Allocate lockers or treatment rooms as required and provide guests with relevant keys or access cards.
- Answer telephone calls and email enquiries, take messages, and ensure they are promptly delivered.
- Complete administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and updating records.
- Respond to guest requests for assistance or information in a timely and efficient manner.
- Offer concierge-style services, including arranging spa treatments, booking local attractions, or organising transport.
- Prepare bills and process payments accurately, including managing deposits and issuing receipts.
