ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and focused
Revenue and Distribution Manager to lead the resort’s revenue strategy, pricing, forecasting, and distribution management.
This role is critical in driving profitability, optimising business mix, driving direct individual and group reservation business and ensuring the resort maximises revenue opportunities across all channels while supporting the luxury positioning of the property.
Reporting directly to the Resort Director, this position operates independently from the sales structure and requires a highly analytical individual with extensive experience in luxury total hotel & resort revenue and distribution management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Revenue Strategy and Performance
- Lead the resort’s revenue strategy across rooms, groups, and ancillary revenue streams including Individual Reservations, Group, Events, Spa, F&B & Golf pricing.
- Drive rate optimisation, occupancy performance, and profitability
- Develop and manage pricing strategies aligned with market demand and business goals
- Monitor pace, pick up, competitor activity, and market trends to maximise Revenue performance
- Distribution Management
- Manage all online distribution channels ensuring effective positioning and channel performance
- Oversee OTA strategy, channel mix, and parity management
- Ensure systems and distribution platforms are optimised effectively
- Maintain strong knowledge of luxury distribution strategies and evolving market trends
- Liason with International Hotel Brand JA Resorts & Hotels and GHA Discovery as the brand loyalty partner.
- Forecasting and Reporting
- Produce accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts
- Provide detailed reporting and revenue management analysis to senior leadership
- Identify risks and opportunities through data analysis and market intelligence
- Support budgeting and long-term financial planning processes
- Commercial Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to align business strategy and market segmentation
- Collaborate with Marketing on promotional activity and campaign analysis
- Support operational teams with forecasting and business planning insights
- Systems and Compliance
- Ensure effective use and management of revenue systems and reporting tools
- Maintain accuracy across inventory, rates, and channel management systems
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting efficiency and commercial processes
- WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
About You
- Extensive experience in luxury, International hotel revenue and distribution management
- Experience in international distribution systems preferably with global brand exposure
- Strong understanding of pricing strategy, forecasting, and business mix optimisation
- Able to demonstrate advanced analytical and revenue management capability
- Strong knowledge of distribution channels, OTAs, and channel management systems
- Experience with Ideas or similar revenue platforms required
- Highly detail focused with strong reporting and presentation capability
- Excellent revenue judgement and decision-making ability
