About Us
Our Front of House team is responsible for delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences aligned with JA Resorts & Hotels and Forbes Five-Star service standards. This role ensures smooth and efficient guest arrivals, departures, room allocations, billing accuracy, response to external and internal tele inquires and personalised guest engagement throughout the stay experience.
As Receptionist, you will act as one of the first points of contact for guests physically or over the phone and are expected to maintain the highest levels of professionalism, discretion, communication, and attention to detail while ensuring seamless coordination with all operational departments.
Key responsibilities of the Receptionist will include:
- Welcome all guests warmly and professionally following JA & Forbes Five-Star service standards.
- Perform efficient and accurate guest check-in and check-out procedures.
- Ensure all registration cards, payment methods, billing instructions, and guest documents are verified correctly.
- Prepare and issue room keys accurately while maintaining guest privacy and security standards.
- Ensure room allocations are aligned with guest preferences, VIP status, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are inspected and ready prior to guest arrival.
- Handle guest requests, enquiries, complaints, and special arrangements promptly and professionally.
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel facilities, room categories, restaurants, spa facilities, golf experiences, and local attractions.
- Ensure guest profiles and preferences are updated accurately within the hotel PMS system.
- Promote GHA Discovery enrolment, recognise member benefits, maintain accurate guest profiles, and support guest loyalty initiatives in line with hotel standards.
- Maintain lobby and reception cleanliness, organisation, and luxury presentation standards always.
- Ensure accurate billing, cashiering, posting, and payment processing procedures.
- Support departmental goals relating to Forbes standards, guest satisfaction, upselling, and operational excellence.
- Promote personalised luxury hospitality experiences to encourage guest loyalty and repeat business.
- Contribute ideas to continuously improve guest journey experiences and operational efficiency.
- Support sustainability and environmental initiatives introduced by the resort.
