You'll work from a fully equipped mobile repair van, carrying out high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs for dealerships, fleet operators, leasing companies and private customers across South Wales.
Description
As a Mobile Vehicle Paint & SMART Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs while providing outstanding customer service.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality SMART repairs, including scratches, scuffs, stone chips and minor dent repairs.
- Prepare damaged panels ready for painting.
- Mix and colour match paint accurately.
- Apply primer, basecoat and clear coat using professional paint techniques.
- Blend adjacent panels where required to achieve invisible repairs.
- Machine polish and finish repairs to an exceptional standard.
- Refurbish and repair alloy wheels.
- Prepare used vehicles to retail-ready standards.
- Maintain your mobile repair van, tools and equipment to a professional standard.
- Complete repairs safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional image at every customer location.
- Follow company quality, health and safety procedures.
Experience in windscreen chip repairs would be an advantage but is not essential.
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in SMART Repair, Vehicle Paint or Cosmetic Vehicle Repairs.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent paint preparation and spraying skills.
- Strong colour matching ability.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable and self-motivated.
- Pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
Desirable
- Alloy wheel refurbishment experience.
